Dear Friend’s family,
We are pleased to remind you that Friend has been nominated by to attend the invitation-only Kid Chess Advanced Camp, an opportunity reserved for the strongest 5% of Kid Chess students. To be nominated for this camp, a player must show both chess ability and sportsmanship, which Friend certainly has.
We have several advanced camps, including two one-day camps in the Spring and two week-long camps in the summer. Details are below, and you can visit the website for information on our standard camps.
Tournament Prep Camps Saturday, April 20th 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Chess Zone & Sunday, April 28th 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm Chess Zone Summer Advanced Camps July 8th – 12th 9:00 am – 5:00 pm The Walker School Full day or half day option & July 15th – 19th 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Chess Zone Full day or half day option The advanced camps are designed to provide high-level instruction to help our strongest students take their game to the next level as serious chess players. It’s a great place for our strongest students to play and compete. We know some of our students will be participating in rated tournaments this year, so our spring half-day camps are specifically tailored to train them for tournament play.
With limited spots available, registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Since this camp is invitation-only, we do not have online registration. Secure your child's spot by calling us at 770-575-5802 to register.
