Dear Kid Chess Parents,
We have recently been informed that our 5th Grade students will not be able to attend our original trophy day (which was planned for Dec. 12th) due to a field trip. We would like for all of our students to be able to participate in this special event. The Birmingham Falls trophy day will now be held Wednesday, December 5th. Of course, we will still be having chess club on Dec. 12th.
Trophy day is the day we celebrate your young chess player’s achievements, and we hope that you are able to attend.
The ceremony will take place during the last 30 minutes of your child’s normal club time. If your child is enrolled in both hours of chess, they will have two separate trophy ceremonies.
Please don’t hesitate to call me or email me if you have any questions, comments or just to provide feedback as to how you feel your child’s semester at Kid Chess has been.
