Chess Zone is excited to celebrate labor day weekend with you all! Come check out our G/30+5 Melee on Sunday, then mix it up with our Chess 960 Tournament on Monday. We look forward to seeing you there with your hard-earned day off!

Four rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated

Schedule: 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm

SECTIONS:

1000+: Open to players rated 1000 or above. 1st Place - $200; 2nd Place - $100; Top U1600 - $30;

U1000: Open to players rated under 1000. 1st Place - $75 + trophy; 2nd Place - $30; Top U700/Unrated- $30;

Time Control: G/30; inc. 5; USCF dual rated (regular and quick).

Entry Fee: $35.00 by 9/1; $40 at the site; Free entry for (W)FMs, (W)IMs, (W)GMs - entry fees deducted from prizes. The field is limited to the first 50 registrants.

Rounds: 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1 PM, 2:30 PM.

One OPEN section.

Place Prizes: 1st Place - $200; 2nd Place - $100

Class Prizes: Class A 1800-1999 - $50; Class B-C 1400-1799 - $50 Class E-D 1000-1399 - $30; U1000 & unrated: $30

Live US Chess regular ratings used for pairings and prizes. Prizes based on 30 registrations.

Starting position will be chosen randomly using https://chessgames.com before each round on a shared display. USCF rating of 600+ (or 1000+ chess.com) recommended.

Time Control: G/25; inc. 10; unrated

Entry Fee: $35.00 by 9/2; $40 at the site; Free entry for (W)FMs, (W)IMs, (W)GMs - entry fees deducted from prizes. The field is limited to the first 50 registrants.

Schedule: Pre-registration closes at 9:00 am. On-site registration ends at 9:45 am.
