Hey Chess Players,

Join us this Saturday, October 5th, for the monthly Action Tournament G/60+5 this Saturday, October 5th. This rated tournament is open to players of all ages. Prices are set to increase tomorrow, so now’s the perfect time to secure your spot!

Then on Sunday, October 6th, we’ll host our K-12 Rated Scholastic Tournament, perfect for young players looking to build their rating and gain tournament experience.

Action Tournament

October 5th

Time Control: G/60; inc. 5

Rounds: Rounds: 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm, 6:00 pm.

Prizes: CHAMPIONSHIP (1600+): Open to USCF rated 1600 and above. 1st -- $400 2nd -- $200 Top Under 1800 -- $50

RESERVE (U1600): Open to USCF rated between 1000 and 1599. 1st -- $200 2nd -- $100 Top Under 1300 -- $50

BOOSTER (U1000): Open to USCF rated under 1000 and unrated. 1st -- $100 (+trophy) 2nd -- $50 Top U700/Unrated -- $50

One "special" Top Senior (age 50+) prize awarded: $50.
