Good morning,
This weekend, on April 13th and 14th, ’s Chess Team will compete against other schools in the greater Atlanta area in the Kid Chess Playoff Tournaments. Friend is invited to help represent Chess Team in this exciting event.
Since Friend is in grade, Friend is encouraged to compete in either the Saturday April 13th Morning Tournament or the Sunday April 14th Afternoon tournament, whichever fits Friend's schedule best. Friend will be competing against children from kindergarten through second grade.
Though Friend can register to play in either section. To ensure the best results for , it is recommended that Friend participate in the K-2 Section on Saturday Morning or Sunday afternoon.
All of Friend's results will contribute to ’s total school team points. Results from both Saturday and Sunday tournaments will be accumulated to determine the top schools. Additionally, Friend will have the opportunity to earn an individual trophy for performance if scoring higher than 51% in all games played.
