The Chess Zone January Scholastic Championship

Get Ready Speed Demons- Chess Zone has two speed-chess tournaments this Sunday, February 11th. Check out our morning rapid tournament at 10:00 am and our afternoon blitz tournament at 3:00 pm. Stay for both, or pick one! Fast-paced moves and intense competition await!

Rapid Championship

Feb 11 | 10am

Five rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated (quick rated)

Rounds: 10:00 AM, 10:45 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:15 PM, 1 PM.

Time Control: G/10; inc. 5; USCF quick rated.

Blitz Championship

Feb 11 | 3pm

Five double rounds (10 total games; play each opponent twice as white and black), Swiss System, USCF rated (blitz rated)

Rounds: Round 1 starts at 3:00 PM; rounds 2-5 immediately after. Last round should start at approximately 5:30 PM.

Time Control: G/5; inc. 2; USCF blitz rated.
