Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Walker! We are excited about seeing all our chess students Friday.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Walker Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Friday, starting January 17th and ending April 25th, with Trophy Day. (Tentatively)

Club times
• 1st Hr - 3:15 PM - 4:15 PM

• 2nd Hr - 4:20 PM - 5:20 PM
Club location
Winship Library
Club does not meet
2/21, 3/07, 3/21 and 4/11

Pick up location

All students are picked from the ASP room (EDP).

* On days when chess club meets, please send your child to school with a note for their teacher saying that they will be attending chess after school.

** We will notify you by email in the event of changes to class times, locations and/or dates.
