Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Morningside! We are excited about seeing all our chess students January 31st.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Morningside Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Friday, starting January 31st, and ending May 2nd, with Trophy Day.

Club times
• 1st Hr - 2:15 PM - 3:30 PM

• 2nd Hr - 3:40 PM - 4:40 PM
Club location
Cafeteria
Club does not meet
2/21 & 4/11

Pick up location

Park at the local church & walk to pickup at the gym.

* On days when chess club meets, please send your child to school with a note for their teacher saying that they will be attending chess after school.

** We will notify you by email in the event of changes to class times, locations and/or dates.
