Hi Parents,

The Winter-Spring Kid Chess Club at  is starting soon, and spots are filling as the semester kicks off. Get some reps in for the new semester with our blacklight bughouse tournament.


Next Saturday, January 25th, we’re hosting a Blacklight Bughouse Tournament —a fun, tactical twist on chess played under black lights with glowing boards. Whether your child is a club member or just likes chess, this event is an exciting opportunity to play and socialize. If you’re unsure if your child is ready to participate, call us, and we’ll connect you with a coach.


 

Blacklight Bughouse Tournament Details:

Date: Saturday, January 25th

Morning Session: 3rd – 5th Grade

9:00 AM - 12:15 PM

Afternoon Session:  Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

1:15 PM - 4:30 PM

Entry Fee: $35

Location: Chess Zone

2500 Old Alabama Road, Suite 11, Roswell, GA 30076

Please arrive 15 before the tournament starts for check-in. 

 

There’s still time to register for both the club and the tournament. Give your child a chance to boost their decision-making skills, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive environment.

Looking Ahead: Kid Chess Playoffs

At the end of the semester, Kid Chess Playoffs will bring school teams together for a competitive and collaborative event. It’s a great opportunity for club members to represent their schools, showcase their progress, and build team spirit. Stay tuned for more details as the semester unfolds!
