Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Garrison Mill! We are excited about seeing all our chess students on August 17th, 2023.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Garrison Mill Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Thursday, starting August 17th, and ending December 7th, with Trophy Day.

Class times
• 1st Hr - 2:25PM - 3:25PM
• 2nd Hr - 3:30PM - 4:30PM

Media Center

Club does not meet

9/28, 10/19, 11/09, 11/16 and 11/23

Pick up location

Dismissal is through the Covered Play Area doors.

* On days when chess club meets, please update Go Safe (accessed through Parent Vue) for dismissal to club, this will let the teacher know that they will be attending club.

** If your child is only in 2nd hour and returning to the school, please bring them to the dismissal location and a coach will receive them.

***We will notify you by email in the event of changes to class times, locations and/or dates.
