Chess Zone is hosting two days of thrilling tournaments this weekend! Saturday is the Chess Zone Scholastic Blitz Tournament. Players with a need for speed will race against the clock to see who comes out on top. This tournament is open to grades K-12.

Kids under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult for this tournament.

The Kid Chess November Open is coming up this Sunday, November 12th! The morning tournament will welcome players in grades K-5. In the afternoon, we will also open our tournament to kids in middle school. Our tournaments are great ways for kids to meet new friends and learn more through playing chess. Tournament players are rapidly re-paired, so there are no long waits between games.

All chess players with a plus score go home with a trophy, and all other participants will leave with a medal! So leave room on the mantel for some shiny new hardware to show off your child's hard work!
