Hello Friend,

One of my favorite constellations to observe at this time of year is  Sagittarius.

And of most interest is of course the asterism of the  "teapot";  which yields dozens
of interesting objects.

A few nights ago, I was scanning through Sagittarius with a pair of Celestron 12 x 50 Granite binoculars, and
there are many objects of interest in this particular area of sky.

Many more can be seen through a telescope.  A UHC or Oxygen 3 filter is most useful
since there are many nebulaes.  Several tight star clusters too!

If you have not had a look at it for a while, I recommend you take a peek!

It's best observed under dark skies, with a good view of the Southern Horizon since
it tends to hang fairly low in the sky.

Another thing about observing at this time of year, are the somewhat cooler nights,
and no bugs.
