Subject: re: The Beauty of Sagittarius and the "Teapot"
Hello Friend,
One of my favorite constellations to observe at this time of year is Sagittarius.
And of most interest is of course the asterism of the "teapot"; which yields dozens
of interesting objects.
A few nights ago, I was scanning through Sagittarius with a pair of Celestron 12 x 50 Granite binoculars, and
there are many objects of interest in this particular area of sky.
Many more can be seen through a telescope. A UHC or Oxygen 3 filter is most useful
since there are many nebulaes. Several tight star clusters too!
If you have not had a look at it for a while, I recommend you take a peek!
It's best observed under dark skies, with a good view of the Southern Horizon since
it tends to hang fairly low in the sky.
Another thing about observing at this time of year, are the somewhat cooler nights,
and no bugs.
Have a Super Weekend!
Clear Skies,
Ray Khan
PS The binoculars I was using were the 12 x 50 Celestron Granites, which have superb optics
and great contrast to boot. There are several models available in this higher quality series, and
all of them are on sale right now, along with the Celestron Series of Luminous eyepieces which
provide excellent performance, and are rarely on sale. You can check them out below.
Summer might be ending, but the savings have just begun!
Now is the time to save BIG with the Celestron Instant Rebate. If you're looking for an outstanding sale on Celestron Granite ED Binoculars, then you've come to the right place! But don't stop there, because the savings continue with Celestron Luminos Telescope Eyepieces! You'll be impressed with these deals on premier Celestron products.
