Hello Friend,

Famed magician/escape artist Harry Houdini died on October 31st Halloween night.

But not from doing one of his famous escapes, or upside down in the water tank, as
seen in the "Houdini" film starring Tony Curtis way back in the 50's.

No he died from appendicitis;  one of the things that contributed to his death was
a punch to his stomach, from a Mcgill University student, some experts have said.

Houdini was as a fit as a fiddle, and invited folks occasionally to whack him in the gut;
however, he usually prepared for the blow, and this one time he was not quite ready,
and wham.....he took the blow, and stumbled back.

  He died on October 31st, Halloween night.. .taking many of his secrets to his grave
and leaving many behind to other expert magicians.
