Hello Friend,

     It was like Christmas morning last night! Yes, really.....

More on that in a minute....

After dropping by the store last night to drop off some telescope gear, that I had used for a telescope demonstration in a downtown
Toronto hotel  last night,   

We saw the planet Venus peek between the clouds for all of 1 minute over about a 30 minute period.

"Look there it is!  Now it's gone....no, it's back again!" , said my colleague Randy. "No, it's gone again...crikey," I said, and here we were on the 22nd floor of a downtown hotel.

The other saving grace to the event was that since it was now raining outside, and we could not go on the outdoor patio,
we had to set up the telescopes,  close to the hotel bar.. where of course, the first thing I requested was a glass of water with lemon
on the rocks :)

Reminded me of Comet Ison, made of Dirty ice water, and rocks.....amazing isn't it?

        So after getting back to the store, I saw some new inventory had arrived late in the day,  and decided to take a look.

Yippee! New toys....er, I mean optical instruments from our friends at Explore Scientific!

I noticed the Full Moon outside was teasing me, so I ripped open one of the the boxes, assembled the telescope in about 5 minutes,
and was observing right away:

Such joy!

If there is something I really appreciate, it's being able to set up a telescope in under 5 minutes and start using it.
