Subject: continued: Looking to hook up? Al Nagler of TeleVue's dating "advice "

Hello Friend,

       One thing you could say for Al Nagler of TeleVue optics, is that he had a good dating system figured out.

He met his wife Judi (co-founder of TeleVue Optics ) back in 1959;

So the first thing he did was take her to the Hayden Planetarium, and then the Bronx symphony to see
if she had any interest in those things.

         She passed the "test" and the rest is history!  So, if you're single and looking, now you know exactly what to do! :)

Al then went on to work for Farrand Optical in the Bronx, starting as a draftsman, joining the optical department
and then become senior optical engineer.

Nagler designed the display simulators for the Gemini Program and Apollo Lunar Module.

Now you know where he got the idea for the first Nagler eyepiece!

   After 16 years of night school, Nagler obtained his B.S. in Physics;

TeleVue was started as a part time business, with wife Judi (the real Business Brains behind TeleVue back then),
worked to get the company off the ground, back in the 70's.

Eventually, Naglers son David, and daughter in law Sandy, joined the company, and today run the family business.

Al , now in his late 70's, is still  active in the company, though not running day to day operations,
in fact he has a desk right across from his son David's , and provides continued
input into new  product development, and with his protege Paul Dellachaie (the principal designer of the Ethos series of eyepieces,
the fun goes on.

In celebration of Al Naglers many years of contribution to producing the finest optics in this industry, and setting very high standards
for others to follow, Khan Scope is offering a very rare 10% discount on several models of TeleVue telescopes.

You can see a list of these at our website, www.khanscope.com or give us a call for more information 1 800 580 7160 or

PS I had my own litmus test for dating; First thing I would ask, is to see what books she was reading, or take a look at the library shelf.
One person I went out with actually did not own a single book!  She said: "I don't read"(Though she did claim that a copy of the "Holy Bible" was somewherein the house.)...needless to say............;)
