Hello Friend,

Today an older gentleman dropped by the store, and he brought up the subject talking about the 'Good Old days.'

You know the stuff, about how great everything used to be. 

Now I just so happened that I happen to be reading a book right called 'Sapiens'   A brief history of mankind.(I recommend it)
Which just happens to be the so-called good old days.

So I said: "Oh you mean like the good old days when Spanish explorer Cortez landed in what is now Mexico and annihilated the
Aztecs"?

"Somehow, I don't think their ancestors are looking back at those good old days."

He winced , and remarked, "not exactly."

"The fact of the matter is" I continued is that "one day some one is going to look back to the present and today is going to
be the good old days".

Well, you know that's the kind of discussion that can go on and on.   I don't believe in the good old day's premise,
because then you are going to miss what's right in front of you.
