Subject: Why we don't sell toys, sea monkeys, or baubles..
Hello Friend,
Sea Monkeys? Test tubes? Baubles?
Over the years, some folks have tried to tempt me into adding things to our product line of primarily Telescopes,
Binoculars, Microscopes, & Related accessories.
And I have always resisted this effort: Why?
Simple. I don't want to be all things to all people.
That's why we only carry goods related to Optics specifically. As far as I am concerned, you cannot be an
expert in all things.
And being a jack of all trades, and master of none, does not interest me in the least.
And the evidence of that is when I receive emails from customers attesting to that, such as this one
below that was received yesterday. directed to our store manager, Alex, that I would like to share with you.
Let me express my appreciation for your time and patience invested in my Coronado 90 and iEQ45 purchase.
Indeed, it is very rare that a sale person asks what your needs are, and then ensures that the options for the best possible deal are all considered.
In my book, this spells “best practice”.
Wish you success in your career.
And that pretty much sums it up. We are sincerely interested in finding solutions to your telescope problems.
And we don't want to be distracted by selling you stuff that does not matter, like Amazing Live! Instant Life Sea Monkeys ( what the heck is so amazing about brine shrimp anyway?) or test tubes (you measuring "crack" or what?) or other kinds of junk.
Clear Skies,
Ray "Telescope" Khan
PS We love telescopes and optics! The telescope has to be one of the greatest discoveries of mankind, opening up the minds
of millions of people in the process. How cool is that?
