Subject: Why the Vixen sales manager almost dropped his pants
Hello Friend,
Recently Brian Deiss, Sales Manager from Vixen Optics dropped by the store to announce and show off some new products that
Vixen Japan was introducing.
He lugged in his two samples cases showed me a few new telescopes and some high-quality binoculars which I was
rather impressed with when I took a look through them.
As a matter of fact, one of our regular customers, a guy called Tom happened to drop by the store and was chatting to Alex
and I handed them to him to get his opinion, and he was so impressed, that he insisted on buying the sample from Brian's case
immediately!
I looked over to Brian, and he looked over to Alex, and said: "Sure, go ahead."
Anything for a happy customer!
In case you are wondering exactly what impressed Tom so much it's this pair right here:

As I was looking at one of the compact new apo refractors that Vixen was introducing this year, I noticed an eyepiece sitting
in the case alongside the scope, and saw that it was not one I had seen before and inquired about it.
Brian mumbled something about it, as he was more interested in telling me all about the new compact 65mm apo.
So I just grabbed the eyepiece out of the case, and it seemed solid and well designed. I plunked it into the nearest
telescope I could find and took a look through it.
Damn! It was one mighty fine eyepiece and a new model at that and Brian had forgotten to even show it to me
or mention it for that matter. He was so caught up his other stuff, and probably a bit jet lagged from travelling.
I inquired as to availability and other focal lengths. And he darned near dropped his pants when I ordered a bunch
of them right away.
I know a good thing when I see one.
Introducing the Vixen Optics SSW Eyepiece series:

These eyepieces available in several different focal lengths are the cat's meow for bino viewers or single use
astronomical eyepieces.
Why? They are compact and lightweight and built solid. Like a tank. And no vignetting or distortion of any
the kind that I could tell.
And to ensure they get out into as many hands as possible, this month we've got them on sale for 20% off.
Plus, if you order before Friday midnight this week, you also get FREE SHIPPING.

Clear Skies,

PS More snow shoveling this morning, and it's fricking cold to boot. Which is why the skies are clear.
