Hello Friend,

Canada is a country that for the most part is respected around the world, that's why.

Whether you like him or not,  Barack Obama is certainly one of the more level headed and eloquent politicians of the USA.

In his visit to Canada yesterday, he certainly gave an excellent speech to the house of Commons.

Heck, this is a President who even set up amateur telescopes on the Whitehouse lawn, and invited Americans and others to do some stargazing.

As we head into our Canada Day weekend, I will be taking a moment to give thanks for living in one of the best countries in the world
no doubt about it.

Sure, I grumble occassionally about this and that, until I take a look around the world, and then feel nothing but gratitude.
