Subject: Where did everybody go?
Hello Friend,
It happens every year.
From about January 1st to the 3rd week in February, my local gym is packed with a lot of new folks
who have made a resolution to "get into shape" for the new year.
So of course it get's quite busy, and sometimes you have to wait longer to use some of the machines.
But now that the membership is 'thinning out' so to speak, it's a bit more sane.
A lot of the folks with good intentions, have just stopped coming.
When you spend hours on a computer every day, like I do, you need to get some physical activity to
balance it out.
And since it's too frickin' cold to do any outside activities, the gym can be quite handy.
There is another analogy here too; and it includes your telescope.
If you are finding that you may not be using it as much as you used too, or it's an effort to carry it
outside and actually set it up and use it, then it may be time to get something perhaps a bit more to
portable, or easier to use.
But what to do with your existing instrument, Friend?
You can trade it in.
That's the easiest.
Or you can try to sell it on craigslist. But be prepared to have a lot of your time wasted there.
We accept trade-ins of all kinds of instruments.
Anyway with spring just around the corner, it's something to consider.
Clear Skies,
Ray Khan
PS The Celestron Ultima Edge sale is ending this Saturday. These are time tested instruments and
worth considering if you want a good balance of aperture and portability. You can see them
here. .http://khanscope.com/newEquipList.cfm?catID=1&subCatID=1&manID=2
