Hello Friend,

   Now I'll be the first to admit that I don't listen to what is called, Rap  "music".

Recently, when I was in New York, at the NEAF astronomy conference, I managed to make
it down to to the hotel gym, just once.

     Late nights at the bar talking astronomy, makes it hard to get up early to get to the gym
before hitting the astronomy show.

And what was I subjected too when I got to the hotel gym?

     Loud music blaring away,  with every other word being the "N" word, or that other
nasty expression, which I'll abbreviate here as MFK, and you'll have to figure that one out.

Over and over.

Some twenty-something young lady was with there  her boxing sparring trainer and was "inspired" listening to this "music"
and I use the term loosely.

    Frankly, I can't see how this noise, could be at all inspiring.  It sounded like very negative energy
to me.

I couldn't take more than 20 minutes of this auditory assault, and left the gym.

However, I have since been inspired to write my own rap ditty and here it is:

"If you wanna a good deal,
then don't miss out,
It all ends this  Thursday,
If you miss it, you'll pout!"

No worries, here I'm not giving up my day job quite just yet.

PS Oh yeah, in case you were wondering; Biggie Smalls, was a rap artist from Brooklyn, NY who was killed in a drive by shooting in Los Angeles.      Maybe somebody didn't like his music or him. Who knows?
