        The weather in the North country was all over the map this past weekend.

It was for the most part cloudy, and was not conducive to doing any kind of observing.

Then it was windy. Then it rained for 10 minutes.

Fortunately I was able to mow the lawn on Father's day and get ready for what turned
out to be Rib night, very nice.

Then, in the background, I heard a character actor doing a Captain Crunch commercial,
and it was just the most terrible voice over I had ever heard.

Did not even sound close to the Captain Crunch I recall as a youngster:

Maybe you might even recall this:

"Its got corn for crunch, oats for punchy, and it stay's crunchy even in Milk"

Now I realize, the original voice actor, who just happened to be Daws Butler (Yogi the Bear as well
as many others) has long since died.

But this dude, sounded like a Captain Crunch wannabe.

Seriously, I was wondering, how many voice actors did they test out for this gig?

And I thought of all the poor kids today who were missing out on the real deal.

That's not going to happen to you though, Friend.
