Subject: Tragedy in Toronto by committed by an "Incel"
Hello Friend,
Having just returned from New York after having attended NEAF (Northeastern Astronomy Forum) yesterday it
was quite a shock to have heard the disturbing news that at least ten people had been murdered and many others
injured by the madman who drove his truck down Yonge Street.
That particular section of the street was a place I know well because I spent my teenage years there.
As soon as I had heard the news, well it was hard not to feel the pain and shed tears for the many victims.
I also told my two daughters (one is a journalist ) that I suspected that the guy that did this likely had issues with
relating to women, was a misogynist and likely had been rebuffed by the opposite sex.
Well, sure enough, the news came out today that this scumbag applauded Elliot Rodger who killed six people in 2014
and injured 14 others.
He also refers to himself as an "incel" which refers to someone who is involuntary celibate.
I've never heard that term before, but I would say he likely had poor social skills and could not get a girlfriend
(i.e. no sex) so this likely fuelled his anger.
Assuming that you are entitled to women's bodies when you are not, makes you a misogynist.
Did this dude have mental issues? Naturally yes but still...he went to extreme hatred here and murdered
many innocent people were just going about their business.
Expect to hear words like "Toxic Masculinity" and groups such as Black Lives Matter proclaiming that
if this incident happened in America, that man would be dead. And they just might be right on that one.
This is Canada, and we are fortunate to have a police officer who executed his skills and knowledge,
at great personal risk.
That gentleman is a Hero if there ever was one.
Heartfelt condolences to all the affected families and their loved ones.
Nothing to sell today, it's just not the time for it.
Clear Skies,
Ray Khan
