Hello Friend,

Don't worry, if you have not seen the new Star Wars movie, no spoilers here.

          If you slept in today, it might be due to the turkey.

It could also be because you just ate and drank too much.

    Both my daughters are vegetarian, so we prepared a special vegetarian
lunch for them. 

Tofu was banned from the menu of course.

Then, Christmas evening after other food and festivities, just had to
get out and see the new Star Wars  Movie, just could not wait any longer
because it has been super busy over here at the store.

    What a great movie it was, and that's all I am saying about it.

Of course the real Star Wars for amateur astronomers is the battle
against that dreaded enemy: Light Pollution.

It is a continuing battle that takes place, mostly behind the scenes
with many groups and organizations working in the quietly in the background
to battle with cities, and street planners, and also creating dark sky preserves
for the present and the future, so we can all enjoy the wonders that the
night skies for a long time.

For our kids, and their kids too.
