Hello Friend
The holiday season can be a frantic time for many of us.
This year was a post-pandemic wild ride, with a roller coaster up and down experience.
I believe most people were affected. If you weren't consider yourself fortunate.
Where to begin?
Well lets start with with this:
T-bone steaks and Prime Rib. (with an apology any Vegan or Vegetarian reading this).
The prices for these have sky rocketed. I mean I'm almost forced to consider becoming
a (shudder) part time vegetarian. But then I would have to eat Beyond Meat (crap)
substitute full of "healthy" chemicals..
Naw. I'm sticking to the Prime Rib thanks. I mean Galen Weston needs the money
to buy more knitted sweaters and such ilk.
Did you happen to invest in Crypto this year ?
Ok. What happened to. "Bitcoin to the Moon!"?
I dunno. Ask Sam Bankman Fried! Or maybe his parents. He can give you
29 billion reasons. (and why is this dude even out of bail?).
His homeboy shark tank guy
Kevin O'Leary (he wanted to run for Prime Minister once, remember?) might
also have 15 million reasons.
What has happened to basic good manners and civility ? I'm seeing less and less of
it. Everyday, in every way. You know what I'm talking about, right?
Finally, Mother Nature is angry. She has unleashed the worst of it on us right at the
holiday season. What chaos it truly was.
Somehow, we survived it all though.
What will 2023 bring you wonder? Well it's hard to predict but I will say that the world
seems to have lost good leadership. You have democrat pitted against Republican.
You have Liberal agains Conservative.
What happened to people just being people and treating each other with respect.
It's not that hard to do.
Wishing you and yours a joyous and relaxing holiday season and all the best for
2023!
Kind regards,
Ray Khan
PS One of the truly great examples of a great leader was the Her Royal Majesty
Elizabeth II. She truly had integrity and served her people well. You don't have to support
the Monarchy to appreciate that. Just appreciate that she was steadfast in her service.
