Subject: Star Parties ain't for wimps

Hello Friend,

Star parties aren't for wimps.

Starfest, which is coming up this next weekend is such an event.

Now what exactly do I mean?

Well, it's simple.   It means' that when 11pm or midnite or whatever your regular bedtime is rolls around,
you don't go to bed yawn, and fall asleep with the notion that you'll get up at 2am "and see if it's clear".

Heck, if you haven't even set your alarm clock , how is that gonna happen any howz?

How come I hear a whole lot of snoring every year around 11pm at Starfest?

It's enough to keep you awake all night!

Granted, as we get older, it's tougher to do those long nights, but you only live once.

(If you're a cat reading this, that's a different story).

Usually, I will wander around to look through various instruments on the site, and there is always something new to
look through.

Francois van Heerden, an amateur astronomer from Barrie, always has a crowd around his Mallincam
tent, where he demonstrates the wonders of this remarkable system and explains how it all works.

Glenn Norman, from Mount Forest (how convenient), just wrote a most interesting review on the Mallincam
Universe in the current issue of Sky News magazine, which by the way, you can pick up free of charge
at the Sky News booth at Starfest.

And say Hi to Sky News  publisher Greg Kielty, and shake hands with the one and only Terence Dickinson
noted author, and esteemed editor of the publication.

You just never know who else you are going to bump into in the night.

Of course, we will have a few new goodies to show at Starfest, and you might want to check out our
clearance table which has a bunch of stuff on it at discounted prices that we are clearing out.

And, here is a very special offer on some Meade telescopes that we have  right now for Starfest.

Buy any Meade 8" LX90 ($1799), Meade 10" LX90 ($2399) or Meade 12" LX90 ($2899)
from August 19th to August 31st, 2014 and we pay the taxes!
The price you see is the price you pay!

Clear Skies,

Ray Khan
