Hello Friend,

                               Nothing like having a broken rib to remind you of Winter.

Last Sunday, I decided to walk to the Pickle barrel at Yorkdale mall,to meet my sisters for brunch, (2 of the 3 anyway).

And wouldn't you know it, I managed to step on the last piece of slick ice on Dufferin street,  slip and fall
and landed with my right rib hitting the curb.

It all happened so fast!

And damn, does it hurt like hell.

Imagine, surviving the whole winter with nary a fall, and then this.

Sometimes life gives you the breaks, sometimes it doesn't.

I got a break alright, a broken rib!

Honestly, there is nothing more painful.  I stocked up on Advil.

Now because I got a break, I am going to give you a break.... (but a kinder, gentler one).
