Subject: Soft speaking, nice looking sales staff? Apparently not here

"Soft speaking, nice looking sales staff?".   Apparently not at Khan Scope, according to the customer below.

Do we carry a huge inventory?  Well, yes we do.

And...

      When a customer comes into our retail store to buy a telescope, we try to ensure they get the best telescope
for them the first time around, rather than buying the wrong instrument, and finding out the hard way.

Sometimes it can be overwhelming for a first timer due to the fact there are so many choices available to them.

We do our best to explain all the options, and let the customer decide what best works for them.

Here is a customer testimonial I just received, from customer Mirko Tripic, that I would like to share with you.

I went to Khan’s Scope store yesterday with intention to buy a Dobsonian.

 I left the store with a Schmidt Cassegrain telescope (SCT).

I had my budget set at $800. I ended up spending $1500.

Do I feel mislead or taken advantage of? No. Absolutely not. I feel satisfied as a consumer because the sales person at the store took his time and explained to me the advantages of having a SCT over a Dobsonian telescope.

 Did the person at the store (Alex) speak direct and provocative?

  Yes, he did.

Did he know what he was talking about?

Yes, he did.

If you are a kind of person who likes to deal with a soft speaking, nice looking sales staff who try to sell you stuff that you don’t really need, then Khan’s Scope is not the store for you.

If you prefer dealing with an honest expert and you don’t mind being talked to in an unconventional manner, then this is the store for you. I was absolutely satisfied with the purchase and the fact that I learned a lot from the sales person and that I found a source of knowledge that I can trust when it comes to telescopes.

. Besides, the fact, that the store carries so many different telescopes in stock is a big plus for me.

The other stores that I visited didn’t have almost anything in stock and they also charged shipping fees.

Not Alex.

They have so many telescopes and their price is lower and they don’t charge shipping fees.

Overall, very positive experience.

looks aren't everything. ;-)
