Hello Friend.

Today we are going to cut right to the meat and potatoes.  (or Carrots and Tofu for Vegans/Vegetarians ).

I want to include everyone here; nobody gets's left out!

Which reminds me of a funny story.

You may recall the auspicious name of:  John Dobson ?

He is the father of the renowned Dobsonian telescope and one  of the co-founders of the Sidewalk Astronomers
of San Francisco.

Dobson was also Berkeley University graduate and an avowed atheist.

He was a Vegetarian/ planteater of sorts and he would go out into forests and gardens and just pick specific shrubs and
grass and munch it down.     

I recall meeting him at the telescope builders convention many years ago, he and Stellafane was humble and gracious
and brilliant man.

So if he came over to your house for err....lunch or dinner,  he would head straight to your garden and start looking for
edible shrubs to eat.   No kidding either! He did not ingest processed foods of any kind. Period.

HIs main mission was to share the Universe and the wonders of astronomy with everybody.

Interestingly, he was also a monk in the Vedanta order.  

Sad to say, he was eventually booted out of the Swami order, by Guru Whatsisname who felt that there was
a conflict between Dobson's astronomical ideas and the Vedantic order of you know "we are all one with the ,universe".

Blue fairies and Unicorns much?  

Let me just say, that Dobson revolutionized the hobby of amateur astronomy.  He brought it to the masses
via the Cheap Dobsonian telescope.

Yupo, that he did.
