Subject: People are not listening

Hello Friend,

I don't care what hobby you are in, if you buy something that is low end or crap, you are going to have a bad experience.

So when someone writes to me to complain that the $26.17 finderscope that they bought for the telescope does not work
to their satisfaction well what can I say?

You buy crap; you get a crappy experience.

Simple math.

Now what was stranger is that in their next sentence they then said that it does not pay to buy cheap stuff.

Really?

No flipping kidding!

Too bad you ignore your own advice.

The same principle applies to most things in life.

For example, if you buy a cheap Plossl eyepiece (yep, like the same customer did) then don't expect it to perform miracles.

Even Jesus could not change a Plossl eyepiece (mediocre at best ) into a TeleVue Ethos ( a high-quality eyepiece).

Turning water into wine might have been easier actually.

(Especially if you have red dye hidden up your sleeve).

Seriously, though, you don't have to have the top of the line eyepiece like the TeleVue Ethos to use in your telescope,
you can also consider their Delite series which also have very decent eye relief (ideal for spectacle wearers) and superb contrast.

Both are on sale until Midnite tonite.

It's a rare event when these ever go on sale.

So if you want to amp up your Spring observing
and enjoy the limited time you might have to enjoy the hobby,

Clear Skies,

Ray Khan
