Subject: Observing Orion in a t shirt during the winter
Hello Friend,
There is nothing quite like observing Orion in a t-shirt.
And the way to do it, is to head down south to the Caribbean.
Which is exactly what I did.
Barbados that is.
It's nice to from -28 to 28 degrees.
And to see the night time sky, from the beach in minimal clothing, instead of being bundled
up in 5 layers of clothing like usual.
Now, they have some funny attitudes here in Barbados.
For example, a recent bank robbery noted in the local newspaper, where the writer is sympathetic
to the bank robber.
"He ain't kill nobody. He rob the bank and for me that is okay. Poor people suffering".
Huh?
And in order to reduce costs, all police constables have been ordered to roll down the windows
in their cruisers, and turn off the air conditioning.
Wearing a uniform in this sweltering heat, and rolling the windows down?
The good
Of course, the police union is protesting that one.
It's enough to make you want to drink a few rum punches.
Which is exactly what I am going to do shortly.
In the meantime, we've got this sweetheart of a deal for Valentines day.

PS Don't forget to get your sweetie a Valentine's day card, like I did.
Now I will have to sneak off somewhere to find one.
