               Orion in a T shirt.  Here in Turks Caicos.

I,m not going to tell you the temperature, because you likely don't want to know, unless you too are
in the Caribbean.

Yes, I can officially state that observing Orion in a t shirt and shorts, is a darn sight better than observing it
in a Canada Goose Winter coat.

That's what I did last night, with the Canon 10 x 30 is image stabilizing binoculars.

      I'm staying in a condo, and just found out my neighbour Ed, next door, has a Meade telescope.

Now Ed, is in the business of manufacturing precision parts for the aerospace industry.  

So I was thrilled thinking he probably has a Lightswitch 6" or 8" SCT or LX200 even.

As it turns out, he has a meade 70mm refractor on an alt-azimuth mount.    He's yet to see Jupiter
with it, so is he ever in for a pleasant surprise this week.

Ok back to the Turk's head draught,  er.... I mean the business at hand here and celebrating
the universe.

   I'll do that as much as I can while I'm here, and you can too.
