Subject: New horizons anti science research
Hello Friend,
Remember my neighbour in the north country who suggested that the earth was about 6000 years old?
Well he was kind enough to send me a link to support this theories, which he said
was written by a "credible scientist".
Now first of all, I have to admit until I read that article I did not even know there was
an 'Institute for Creation Science'.
But lo and behold there is, and here is the link to the article he sent me and you
can read it for yourself.

They sure like to talk a lot about evidence, and it is fine to say that God created the universe,
but since they like to talk about facts, where is the factual evidence for that?
(crickets chirping...tumbleweeds).
Didn't think so.
Now I am not going to knock a guy for his religious beliefs, that is his choice but the author
of this article even suggesting that the Oort cloud could exist within a 6000 year old universe, and offering no facts to back it up,
well that just does not make any sense either.
I think with this particular neighbour we are just going to have to stick to talking about mundane subjects
like the weather, because we won't be agreeing on the age of the universe any time soon.
If you are interested in making sense of the universe yourself, one way to do so is by taking photographs
of the night sky.
And no easier way exists than using the Skywatcher Adventurer tracking mount.
