Many people know that we accept trade-ins on astronomical equipment, but did you
know we also buy gear outright for cash?

With the holidays around the corner, it seems everyone can do with a bit of spare cash
for the season.

      If you have any telescope gear or equipment sitting around, collecting dust and not being
used, then bring it in, and we will make sure that it finds it's way to someone getting into
the hobby that might be on a tight budget and can't quite afford a new model.

Plus, you will get some extra cash to use as well.

Some one asked me recently if we sell telescopes on consignment.

The straight answer is no and here is why.

       Several years ago, I had a nice 12 string guitar I took into one of the local music shops to
sell for me.

Well guess what?

      A few weeks later, they closed up shop, and my guitar dissappeared  in the process,
and that was that.

Now we are definitely not going out of business anytime soon, however that experience left
me with a very uncomfortable feeling about buying or selling anything on consignment.
