Hello Friend,

    Waking up early has it's benefits.

For one thing, it is relatively quiet in the morning so when I go for a walk or a run.

Few cars, people just starting to move around.

    After 8am though, here in the big smoke, all bets are off.

The lineup at Tim Hortons snakes around the building .

    This morning I stopped in for a Timmies, because I could not be bothered to put a real pot
of coffee on.

So now they have this "roll up the rim "to win promotion going on.

Afterwards, I rolled down the rim to see if I had won a new car.......but no:

What did I win?

A flipping donut!  Last thing that I  need right now.  

    So I attempted to give it away to someone in line, and do you know I was turned down 5 times
before some grateful fellow finally accepted it?

Well, phooey on that.  I have my own version of roll up the rim right here.
