We're thrilled to introduce our new team member, Anthony Saab, an accomplished astrophotographer and passionate astronomy enthusiast who has turned his childhood dream into a celebrated career.
Anthony's love for astronomy took root early in his life. Despite initial financial setbacks, his determination to own a telescope only intensified. Honouring his childhood promise, he purchased a Celestron AVX telescope with his first paycheck and began his journey into the fascinating world of astrophotography.
With an ever-growing curiosity, Anthony gradually upgraded his gear, focusing mainly on ZWO products.
Along with his friends, he established a tradition of spending three moonless nights each month in a Bortle 3 area, devoting this time to capturing celestial images that can only be described as breathtaking.
Of course, the path to stargazing glory wasn't without challenges. Dealing with highly sensitive imaging equipment certainly acquainted Anthony with Murphy's Law. But these experiences didn't deter him; instead, they fueled his passion and deepened his connection with astrophotography.
Today, Anthony has achieved remarkable accolades. Many of his captivating images have been featured on NASA's SKY page, and he has won an esteemed Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) award from NASA – a dream come true for any astrophotographer.
As we move forward, Anthony plans to upgrade his gear and capture even more awe-inspiring images. More importantly, he is eager to share his rich experience and knowledge with fellow enthusiasts.
He looks forward to interacting with anyone interested in astrophotography, whether you're a beginner seeking guidance or an experienced stargazer wanting to share insights and discoveries.
