Subject: Meet Al Nagler from TeleVue Optics

Hello Friend,

Al Nagler is a man who literally revolutionized the amateur astronomy telescope market, when he first unveiled
the Nagler eyepiece back in 1980.

Up until then, telescope eyepieces had narrow field of view, and small apparent fields.

In fact,  if you wore eyeglasses, like I do Nagler eyepieces were a godsend.

You could actually see something through them, due to the nature of the optical design,
which also incorporated better eye relief as  well.

Of course Al also designed a number of high quality telescopes , and really was innovative and
ahead of the pack with his optical designs too.

In fact the latest incarnation  TeleVue 101 is is still a highly prized instrument to own today
as both a visual and quality imaging telescope.

Anyway, if you happen to be in Toronto this upcoming weekend, you can meet Al Nagler in
person.

He will be in attendance at the Astrocats show, and he will also be doing a presentation and talk
on The History of the Nagler Eyepiece and the Evolution of Eyepiiece Designs at Tele Vue Optics.

This is your chance to meet the man and the legend.

Khan Scope will also be there, with a commercial display, so please drop by and say Hello
if you do attend.

The show is a the Ontario Science Centre and runs Saturday June 27th & 28th from 10am to 4pm
and is open to the public.

Hope to see you there.

Clear Skies,

Ray Khan

PS there will be lots of other lectures and presentations at the show too, both or beginner and advanced
amateurs, on visual observing and astroimaging.
