Subject: Is Neil Degrasse Tyson, the new Carl Sagan?.

Hello Friend,

If you haven't had the opportunity to watch the new COSMOS series, Sunday nights on Fox Television
and other channels, then you've been missing out big time, and more than likely, you are living under a rock
if you have not heard about it.

Neil Degrasse Tyson (NDT) is doing a splendid job of recreating the Original series, by the late great Carl Sagan.

Now NDT is no Carl Sagan by any stretch of the imagination, yet he did actually meet Sagan, when NDT
was a student.

So he is Sagan inspired.

Normally I wouldn't recommend anything on Fox television, but this show is an exception.

Celestron, has partnered with the Series to inspire science in the minds of the general public.

And truly, this is something we do need more than ever today.

Less conspiracy theories, less "Where's Bigfoot?" and less other pseudoscience that seems to proliferate
our society and culture today.

Getting our youth exposed to more Science, is job #1 today. These are the Carl Sagan's of the future,
the brilliant minds, that will only grow if exposed to tools such as microscopes,, and telescopes, and even
nature optics.

The invention of the telescope literally changed the way we see the world, and the world around us.

Nothing is going to grow by them playing endless games on the Playstation or whatever, though some
might argue that. Speed, skill, co-ordination...yada yada.

I'm not buying that, and hopefully neither are you.
