Hello Friend,

       With Spring around the corner supposedly (not today though, because it just snowed last night here in the
North country), we are having part of our house painted, by a very nice man, who also just happens to be single as well.

       As I was driving down my street this week, I saw a couple of my neighbours, and they are both females, and
will have to remain nameless, to protect the guilty. (In this case, both of them!)

Now one of them is married, and the other one is single.

       I stopped the truck and rolled down the window, and said to the single lady, that hey, I know this really nice guy
that is doing some painting in our house, and he just happens to be single.

                                Imagine.....yours truly as a matchmaker. 

Hey, I do my best.

Well, what she said next just about floored me, but it was the God's honest truth.

"Nice guy? Forget that....what I want is a rich man with deep pockets" was her response.

     And the married lady chimed in in total agreement with her friend.

Then they went on to lament, that the "rich men with deep pockets" were few and far between.

Really?

Now, if those statements aren't a blight on feminism, I don't know what is.

Needless to say, I shook my head, and hightailed it out of there.

Heck, they didn't even ask me what"Mr. Nice Guys"
name was.

There is a moral in this story somewhere, other than a run as fast as you can warning, to all single males
in close vicinity. ;-)

                      Astronomy? Telescopes?   Right....let's get back on track here.

Tommorow morning, before sunrise, you can see the old Moon down in the east, and a very bright Venus
to the immediate right.
