Subject: How not to drown a skunk

Hello Friend,

It's pretty warm here right now  in the far north.

Hot and humid.

And perhaps the heat might be getting to some people around here.

Like an old timer across the lake from us.

Turns out he  had pulled up to a neighbors  s house, in his pickup truck to let them know to
watch out for a skunk on the loose.

They have a german shepherd dog, who loves to tangle with porcupines, skunks and just
about any other critter.

Seems this  fellow had lived trapped a skunk, and then set about to drown it in the lake
while it was still in the cage.

I don't particuarly like skunks, but the thought of drowning one.....no thanks!

So when he pulled the trap out of the water, he left it open with what he thought was
a dead skunk inside the cage.

Turns out the skunk was playing possum.

Had this old timer totally fooled.......

Was not really dead at all, resuscitated itself  and split pronto!

Now just so you don't get skunked, we've got this here deal for you:
