A sad day in baseball today.

Catcher Yogi Berra (Yankees) passed away yesterday at the ripe old age of 90.

   Did you know that the cartoon character Yogi Bear was actually named after him?

Berra was also known for his many quotes.

Here are a few for example:

"A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore"

"You've got be very careful if you don't know where you are going, because you might not
  get there".

"Baseball is 90% physical; and the other half is mental".

I think you  get the idea.

Yogi Bear on the other hand, was always trying to outsmart Ranger Smith, who
was wise to Yogi's shenanigans of  always trying to steal picnic baskets.
