Hello Friend,

     It's really amazing what can happen if you walk into the local shopping mall,  here in Toronto,
wearing a Habs (Montreal Canadiens) sweater.

     That's what my neighbour, a few stores down, Annette who runs the local florist shop, Heavenly Florist's
found out firsthand.

Annette make's no pretensions about it.

She is a Hab's fan all the way.

But the local response, was shall we say, not so heavenly.

She got plenty of  dirty looks and stares (no doubt from many hapless Leaf fans)
and it kind of rattled her a bit.

Of course, when I saw the sweater I did kinda mention that she was in unsafe territory.

You don't come between hockey fans and their team, in this town, and that happens
to be the Toronto Maple Leafs.

     Now, I also know that many folks in Toronto, were rooting for the Bruins the other night
when the Habs gave them a run for the money, and won the game.

Personally, I'm happy to root for any Canadian team that might be in the playoffs, and that
just happens to be the Habs right now.

And if you could care less about hockey, well that's ok too.
