Hello Friend,

Starfest is one of North America's 10 largest star parties.

That's a lot of people, and a lot of telescopes!

I've been going for the past 30 odd years;  It's hard to believe it's been that long, but it has.

And you know what?

It's something that you've got to visit at least once in your lifetime as an amateur astronomer.

If you don't like camping, then you can stay at a motel or hotels in the area, so don't let that scare you off.

Showing up is half the battle.

And when you see the fun you'll have, and some of the new people (and telescopes) you'll meet,
you will be glad you came.

Check the weather if you must, but really that's not the reason to go.

Think about that.

Now, if you are going, we are going to have a commercial display at Starfest.

And, if you need us to bring something up for you, an accessory, a power cord, telescope , eyepiece
or whatever it might

to bring up to the event and hand it over to you on Friday August 21st.

Of course, it's a given that we have to actually  the item in stock. 

Since we carry a fairly large inventory, chances are good that we will.

PS If you can't make it this year, then do plan for next year. Make a family trip out of it, like
     many amateur astronomers do.   Now, of course if your spouse says: "Where's the nearest shopping mall"?
     then you just might be in trouble. :)
