Well how about that!
Warning: Rant about to unfold
The logic sometimes escapes me.
During the Coronavirus pandemic the way we operated our Retail store was to only permit one customer at a time into the store. Deal with that customer, and then the next would be let in.
It’s a pretty controlled situation and the best we can do under the circumstances.
Now that City of Toronto has shut down Small businesses and retail operations and prevented them from doing anything but curbside pickup.
Why? Because the number of Covid cases daily is on the rise.
But here is where the logic goes awry: It’s ok for a Big box store to have hordes of people
go into it, because it’s deemed an “essential service”.
Or even a liquor store to be open because it’s deemed an “essential service “.
Note to self: (Stock up on Red Cabernet Sauvignon and , Whiskey, Scotch and G. & T.)
How is that preventing the transmission of the virus in any sense of the word?
You have lots of people in a confined area fighting over who is going to get to the
rolls of toilet paper first.
The logic escapes me. What do you think ?
Rant over:
Now on to other things:
Be sure to check out our Black Friday Deals above.
Inventory is getting harder to come by; You can expect shortages and delays on some
items.
Having said that, we do have robust inventories of some products at the moment.
We are operating on a Curbside Pickup basis.
What that means: You can order online, and pick up at the store.
OR
You can order online and have items shipped to you.
Important: Most couriers are currently experiencing high volumes.
Order early to ensure holiday delivery. That’s my best advice .
Every day counts.
Our repair department is currently backed up, so we are not accepting any repairs
for the next 3-4 weeks until we catch up on our current backlog.
Obtaining parts from suppliers has been arduous, but we are doing our best.
Trade-ins: We are still accepting trade-ins; They may be dropped off and
will be assessed.
So it’s mostly business as usual.
Current. Business Hours:
Monday to Saturday 12-5pm.
Closed Sundays
Curbside pickup : Tuesday to Saturday
