   That's an old English expression, which basically means that you don't know what to say
and so the response is complete silence.

And the cat got my tongue yesterday, when I was speaking to a customer and they said
something to me, that I actually didn't have a response too.

 What was the question?

Here it is: "I want a very  high quality telescope for under $200, new or used, is that possible?"

    That's kind of like asking, can you buy a high quality car for $500.

And you and I both know the answer to that one.

    Sure, we can try and find you the best available telescope for under $200, if that is your
budget.

But it's not going to be a high quality telescope.

Now of course, everyone has a different budget and that's just how it is, and that's ok.

     Anyway, if you want to be the cat that got the milk (or cream), then more than likely you
will have to expect to spend more to get something something of sufficiently high quality
these days.
