Subject: Bang up to the elephant

Hello Friend,

One of the statements I really don't like to hear in this business, and from our suppliers, are the words,
"they're on backorder".

That is one of the reasons, I make a very strong effort to keep products in stock, as much as possible.

Of course, this is not an easy task to achieve by any means, as you can well imagine.

And sometimes it lead's to all kinds of other issues and problems.

For example, one of our most popular products for gift giving during the holiday season is  the
Meade ETX 90 Portable Observatory .

Well,  when the folks at Meade Instruments told us, that they had no  stock available for this
holiday season, They also said it was possible that stock would arrive before the holidays, but it would
be very tight.

Well really you don't want to know what I said, but it went along the
lines of:

"WTH???"

And I'm being kind here.

Ok, What I really said is:  (ok, it was something like #@$%!!!!!####***!!!)

I think you get the picture, Friend.

We had orders to fill, and we wanted to ensure that those folks got their telescopes
just in time for the holidays.

Good news is that we got a few extra ones, and they will be available for sale later this week.

So if you act quickly, chances are good you can still get one.

So thanks to Meade for making sure we'd have some happy customers who will be able to enjoy their
telescopes over the holidays.

Clear Skies,

Ray Khan

PS Another instrument that is also in short supply, is the Celestron Nexstar 8 SE, which is on sale right now.
We are running out, and will not receive more stock till likely January next year.

PPS In case you are wondering about "Bang up to Elephant".  It means that things worked out in the end.
Gawd knows who thinks these things up, but it ain't me.
