Subject: Are you making love to your telescope (and your partner)? If not here is what to do.
Hello Friend,
Making Love to your telescope?
Yes, that's right.
You see you want to be treating your telescope like you would treat a gorgeous woman
(Or man if you are a lady reading this).
That might be your girlfriend or that might be your wife.
Might also be the lady that you are hoping your wife/GF does not find about .
Whoops!
If you are not treating or being treated well by your love interest at the moment, this is going
to affect how you enjoy your telescope and how much you use it.
Telescopes need to be nurtured, as does your partner. Using your telescope brings you great joy
when you either amble upon something visually, and it stands out in the telescope eyepiece.
You image something through your telescope and get amazing results.
You treat your partner well., and are rewarded with great sex and attention
and vice versa. (Hopefully anyways)
It is a two way street.
How you treat your telescope and how often you use it will reflect upon who you are as a person.
Amateur astronomy is a passionate hobby. Whenever I speak to other amateurs about their
gear or their experiences they are excited to talk about their recent adventures.
That's the great joy of the hobby. It's one of the reasons I never tire of it.
I'm in awe every time I look up at the night sky from a dark site.
But I have noticed that when my personal relationships are not going so well, then it starts to
reflect in my interest in stargazing. I'm just not as enthusiastic about it.
Sometimes it is time to trade-in your telescope (or time to end your relationship with your partner).
It's hard to do, but it is what will revitalize you.
A few years ago, I was chatting with a fellow amateur astronomer. We talked about some personal stuff
and he intimated that he was not happy in his relationship with his wife.
Things had just gotten stale. And boring. He came to the realization that life was too short, and it was time
to move on.
That's painful. It's also very hard to do.
He did it though. Today's he is a very happy man with a new spouse and together they are like magic.
Now, I'm not for one minute suggesting you dump your spouse or girlfriend, so don't get me wrong here.
At least make an effort to find out what is going on and whether or not it can be fixed.
Then do something about it. At least open the conversation in an honest, non-judgmental way
if you are able.
I would like you to consider whether it's time to upgrade your telescope, now that Spring is upon us
and the temperatures are slowly inching upwards.
Perhaps to revitalize your interest,11am it's time to get something new!
(Also a lot easier than replacing a partner and a helluva lot cheaper I might add)
We do have a trade-in and buy back program, you can find all the details here on this page:
