Subject: A quick and dirty finderscope?
Hello Friend,
Nothing like "quick and dirty",
But that also means "hack job".
Not so good when you are in a hurry to get something to work.
Like trying to find objects in the night sky.
Sometimes, you want to get there quickly if you already know the sky.
If you are a rank beginner, then you want something to guide you to the object fairly quickly
especially if you are using a planisphere or star chart.
Admittedly, many entry level telescopes do not have a good finderscope supplied with them.
Many a frustrated amateur has tried to line their finder up to no avail.
It has happened to me, and I am sure it has happened to you.
Makes you want to rip them off and chuck them in the rubbish bin.
So here is an inexpensive solution.
It is not "quick and dirty" but rather well thought out and with a small footprint
I use one on all my telescopes and binoculars as well.

Have a happy weekend!
