Subject: A champagne telescope on a beer budget

Hello Friend,

I occasionally get asked the question,  "Why do you not list your used telescopes for sale?"

The answer to that is that our inventory on used items turns over fairly rapidly, and it's difficult to keep up with
what comes and goes in a timely fashion.

Here's a case in point:

    Recently we had a pre-owned 7 inch Questar telescope come in;

Now these are fairly costly instruments
even used, and are obviously not for everyone.

Fortunately, we had a customer who had wanted one of these for the longest time, but always felt
it was a bit beyond his range to buy new, so he took advantage of the opportunity immediately and
purchased the instrument immediately.

A few days later, I received this photograph he took through it of the planet Jupiter..

You can see it here:

Stunning!

Now if you too want to take planetary images like that, and you don't want to spend the thousands
of dollars to buy a Questar telescope (new or used), I can offer you something at 1/10th the cost that
will do a similar (but of course, not exact) job.

What is it you ask?

A very reasonable question, and here is your answer.

Truly a champagne telescope on a beer budget.

Now, that's an optical tube only, and you will need a mount to put it on, and we also have
packages available with an EQ mount available as well.

PS And yes of course we will take your present instrument as a trade in, towards this or any
other telescope, whether you want to trade up or down.
