Hi folks,
Let's face it—things feel pretty intense right now, don't they? Between the relentless headlines and life's daily challenges, both big and small, it's easy to feel overwhelmed.
But here's a gentle suggestion: tonight, step away from it all—even if it's just for a few minutes. Dust off that telescope or those binoculars you've been meaning to use, or simply step outside and look up. There's a quiet comfort in knowing that even as our world spins in uncertainty, the stars above remain reassuringly constant, steady, and calming.
This past Thursday, we had a Lunar Eclipse. I woke up around 3 a.m. and caught sight of the stunning blood-red lunar surface—truly a remarkable experience. Did you see it? I didn't take any photos; I just wanted to savor the moment through a pair of binoculars.
Remember, you're not alone—we're all navigating this chaos together, each dealing with our own struggles quietly. So tonight, find your peace in the night sky. And if clouds happen to roll in, grab a good astronomy book or magazine instead, and immerse yourself in the universe that way. Trust me, it helps.
My daughter, Chantal, recently gifted me a book titled Orbital by Samantha Harvey, so that's my companion on this wet and rainy Sunday.
Enjoy your day,
